Your Protector of Fortune Kismet... kismet Oh lady fortune clutch this wretch to your breast A burning emotion surges through without sweat I try to close these eyes but they cease to rest Remember the water lillies under that timeless pale moon My love is not a reflection of any mirror across these isles She is the one I owe a thousand lives without recourse Her heart was not won by wit nor guiles save only thy treacherous trials My soul and body are her protector and friend while ever a martyr without remorse The caress that locked us in a voluptuous embrace For this woman not a step would shudder in wake of a Titan's quake No fire to burn the skin she adores or scar the face she kisses Through the storms of cutting hail and rains of no end there is the lady of the lake For her I'd appear as the lover of which a young girl misses The arms that you that held you well for we shall not forget our swoon Scented voice of this lady soothes my spirit well for my hand holds no blade Yet no son under heaven shall feel a wrath as mine and no path will cause me to sway Even under the dim night's fade Scented voice of my love will forever show me the way... Remember the sworn devotion of faith that tied the final lace Clutch please oh this wretch to your loving breast Allow me to honor a sworn vow by your hand of fate Hold us both mother of destinies to your loving chest Let me protect her... my love.... my soul mate |
