When You Were Mine If only to recapture from the beginning, what we once had when we were winning. Everything came easy for you and me, the attraction, the closeness to be in our own company. I miss the days of flowers given for no reason, now for holidays only I must be out of season. To think of the time when we were so close, and to watch it flee hurts the most. ~Lorraine~ A great poet is nothing more....than a discovered amateur |

Wonderful Lorraine. . . The beginning is always the best part isn't it? It's sad when the end comes and we always wonder what happened. . . Excellent. . . ---------------------------------------------------------- That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |

~Lloraine, this was beautiful yet sad. the last stanza sums it all up. painful but true expressions from deep within your heart. I enjoyed this read very much! Take care. ~Amy~ "Don't be dismayed at goodbyes. A farewell is before you can meet again. And meeting again after a moment or a lifetime is certain for those who are friends." "Fate exists but it can only take you so far, Because once you're there It's up to you to make it happen." |

You have expressed perfectly the regrets we have so desperately wanting to hold on to the last remnants of love. James |
