What Do You See Around You I see Mother Nature flourishing before me in a kind of stifling beauty that my soul could not possibly do anything but sing, give thanks and praise to her majesty of such magnificent. There are trees swaying of massive size to and fro with such gracefulness and ease. A red tailed hawk circling the territory of its prey. Crickets in such abundance their chirping permeates the air. Ground squirrels scurrying about scratching the earth in search of seeds. Flowers in such magnitude they sweeten the air almost to the point of being drug inducing. Deer rambling through the berry bushes sampling there tender fruits. Fowl dispersing towards the lake unnecessarily in fear of a passing heard of huffed creatures. Once tame pets, now wild parrots fly in flocked groups across the sky heading to their nightly resting place. Trees of every sort looking stressed with heavy laden loads of ripen fruit. And off in the distance merriment taking place from unknown souls that are also enjoying this breath taking view. The sun now far off to the west and the wind kicking up signaling the ending of another perfect day. I now bid Mother Nature her due giving thanks for her awesome beauty that she so freely and graciously provides, for all that will stop long enough to open their hearts, soul and minds. This is what I see just outside my front door. By, Cerenity |

What a lovely view you have...taking time to smell the roses I see It's a challenge to see past the ticking clock, the laundry, the dishes, the bills, etc.... But there is sooooo much more if we only take the time to see it!! Thank you so much~ |

Hi Miss Butterfly and Janet Marie Yes when things get alittle stressed around here I just go out side and breath, actually this poem is not so far off from the real thing here. My flower garden though doesn't quiet smell like that but the rest is all here. Thank you so much for you kind replys. Love, Cerenity |
