This was written by my sister, Sally Ann Tapp, after the death of our grandmother on mothers day this year. Unfortunately Sally hasn't got access to the internet so I offered to post this on here for her.

A Nan, a mother and a friend
on whose advice we could depend.
Wise words of comfort when hurt, in pain.
Your loving smile in our hearts remain.

If in trouble we could come to you.
A touch of your hand, you'd get us through.
You would give away your last cent,
with love and kindness it would be sent.

If upset you would wipe our tears.
Your embrace, troubles disappeared.
Giving to others to help, you would
and do much more if you could.

Wanting nothing in return but a smile
and company for a little while.
You'd make us laugh when low,
what we'll do now I just don't know.

A loving lady good and kind,
we're now hurting, left behind.
You're gone when we hurt so much,
no embrace, no tender touch.

You've broken our hearts now you're gone
but a special place remains where you belong.
From tiredness and pain you're free
back to where you should be.

I know one day we'll meet again,
all together we'll remain.
In our thoughts you are still
but now goodbye, we love you and always will.

Welcome to Passions, you two.

These kind of poems make me cry!
Very well written - and such a wonderful
tribute to such an obviously wonderful
grandmother

Tell your sister to hurry and get a computer
so we can hear more from her.
