I wrote this for friends who are a couple..

Love not seen

I see the two of you from a far
I see a love that is strong but yet so fragile
But what baffles me is that
Tiny insignificant words can tear it apart
Over and over again
Can't you see what I see?
Never mind what she said or what he said
Never mind he did this and she did that
That is not important
What is important is what you share
Together, forever and a day
Don't let foolishness tear it apart
Love is love there no denying that
But communication goes a long way
Listen inside yourself what do you hear?
It's your soul crying in pain and in fear
Saying I want my soul mate back
So stop this before it's to late
Loneliness is but a step away

Nice poem Angel...yes loneliness could only be a step away...because it is an accumulation of all these things that finally brings a relationship down.
It seems to me that it is human nature
not to appreciate something special when we have it...and then to grieve for it when we lose it...and we deceive ourselves into believing that we did nothing wrong to destroy the relationship...when in fact we took it for granted.
And once again we desire to be with someone but we do not prepare ourselves because we won't accept our shortcomings and our part in the failed relationship...it was all the other persons fault. James

Yes how very true,..when I gave them this poem it made them think a little,..that's all I wanted the poem did it's job!!
