I never thought it would be this way, But I lie lost in what i feel today, Becuase I cant change the things you say, That break my heart so softly. Hopes dont fall as one would think, Crashing to the floor, But float above, just in case, I let you in once more. Pian doesnt stab as once described, But lives somewhere deep inside, Breathing still with ever tear, Becuase I choose to keep you here. Somehow the silence doesnt sleep, Yet wakes me in the night, To turn to you and fall apart, Knowing that I am right. Tears arent warm as they spill, But freeze my love in place, As you stare into my eyes, And lie striaght to my face. I cannot change the things youve done, I no longer can be strong, I only wish to ask myself, How did i make it this long? |

Hopes dont fall as one would think, Crashing to the floor, But float above, just in case, I let you in once more. Pian doesnt stab as once described, But lives somewhere deep inside, Breathing still with ever tear, Becuase I choose to keep you here. Somehow the silence doesnt sleep, Yet wakes me in the night, To turn to you and fall apart, Knowing that I am right. So tender is the heart consumed in love. It makes it so much harder to start down that path of a new promise. Great read and wonderful imagery. |

I really enjoyed reading this poem, but it hurt me... It triggered old memories. Well done! |
