turns

My calling before me, let quill be my offering;
For to be called poet, no greater gift to receive.

the turns we take along life's path
head down roads to the unknown
never sure what the future holds
so many diversions to blind us
so few bright oracles to follow
weaving a meandering alone
ever wary the danger's loom
making decision to soon
nothing wants to guide us
swirling avenues about time
begins its ticking
gnawing at our lives
stopping progression
narrowing a never
return to comforts
slowed forever
round 'n round
down again
nausea ensues
stopping
going's life
even
insane to ones
safe
end

.....

MA Miller, What dark words!... and such a form...

you sure you don't have a twisted mind

Anyway, enjoyed this one immensely (aw, the neck hurts   )

Regards,
sudhir

P.S. one blemish - a little typo on the "too soon" bit eighth line as I wrote it...

A remarkable presentation, M.A. and quite aptly titled.

The message was good enough to stand alone, but your presentation was really clever, mark, and after reading, I think my neck actually feels a bit better!

Wow...wonderful piece both in word and presentation.
God I wish I new that Sudhir had written it out normally and I now wouldn't have a stiff neck....LOL
