for Ta-rel

Come with me to the garden gate
And let us pass within
Where we shall smell the sweet perfume
And we shall see the roses bloom
That blossom here again

And I will kiss your precious lips
And look into your eyes
We'll sit beside the garden stream
And speak of one-another's dreams
Beneath the starry skies

Along the garden paths we'll walk
Together hand in hand
And we will dance beneath the moon
Until the day breaks all too soon
Across the shadowed land

And as the morning greets us
In this garden of delight
I'll pluck for you a single rose
The garden gate again I'll close
Until we meet tonight
