Words are hard every nuance, every shard Goes straight to your heart and tears you apart in silences profound, misunderstandings abound But words are hard. Words are slick, cutting to the quick And making nonsense of emotion, we call love Lone tranquillity of the soul cannot make you whole And words are slick Words are cruel, without body language you'll Be open just to hear a messagequite unclear But quiet fills not the void, of emotions you've ployed And words are cruel. Words will lie, when you cannot see the eye That confirms the word is true, or promises anew the truth some must know, but mute will never show And words will lie. Words are two edged each sentence round is hedged To hear what you want, to be taken from the font That which has not been offered, by no speech proffered Words are two edged. Words are cold, every hearing makes you bold So you can depend upon a lover or a friend No words you ever speak, it only makes you weak But words are cold. Words bring peace, from the demons give surcease When you hear the feeling that's been said with both your heart and head If you listen with your mind and find fleeting thoughts are kind Words bring peace. Kethry. as soon as you feel too old to do a thing. Do it! |

Welcome to Passions and yes words are very powerfuls tools of desrtuction if used in that context. They can also be the salvation from life's hurts. They carry much force with them. Enjoyed the read.  |

Words are the very expression of consciousness...Like all people using this consciousness we share words can be used for good or bad. The choice is ours.....This board would be quite dull without them. Welcome to Passions...that is a very well done work on words.... |
