My eyes caress over you body, As my hands long to do. My arms ache to hold you. My lips yearn to taste you. But they don’t… they cant. My heart calls out to you, Filled with the love And with the loneliness That fills me throughout the days, Throughout the weeks, Throughout the years. When would I learn? Would my love ever fade away? I look away as your gaze moves to me. I feel the blush rise in my cheeks. Knowing you know how I feel, Knowing you know I love you. You just want to be friends You tell me as my heart dies How can I be your friend? When all I want to do is love you For a thousand lifetimes. For all of eternity. I know I posted this before. However, I realized I forgot to check the box for the poem to be considered for the book. hehe |
