I felt it go My hearts one love The sting of truth One I new of, That she decided Was already known I felt the pain My heart did slow. She did not have To call and say, It was known To my heart this day, But to hear the sorrow Come from her voice Was more than my soul Could take tonight. She thinks I am hurt Or indistress Yet this is futher From the truth. I understand, about Giving love a second chance, For having myself failed I give her hope. And yes I hurt As I must walk my way But truth be told I love her more today. For she has shown me hope In how to open me, My soul, my being, All for those to see. And now what, you ask, Does she stray from sight No, we stay in contact For all of our might, And help each other Through good and bad For the people we are And the bond we share. So to you my lady Please, no tears My peace is you And shall always be. Our hearts do beat in rythms of our own, And the love we have Will never go. |

If we could only accept what the other has to offer and be content...not wanting any more than they are ready to give...James |
