The Beginning Will I know you on the other side? Will I see a face from which to hide? Will there be any hint of our past love? Will we still fit, like hand to glove? You will know me when you're there. Look in my eyes, your reflection is there. Our love will be the common ground I'll hold your hand, still spellbound. But after all this time, will you love me still? Ah my love, indeed it is my will. Even though are paths are crossed? Your love is all I've ever sought. Will I know you on the other side? Do beggars wish so they could ride… Will you know me as I know you? Look in my heart, my words are true. You will know him on the other side because you love him so much now. Love is love and it will be remembered between the heart and the mind. Even those who have separated travel back through the good times and the memories of the things that attracted them to each other. Excellent poem deeply spiritual in many ways.......Take care.......ethome.... |
