Liquidity Of The Night
~*Marge Tindal*~

When the liquidity of the night
opened up and swallowed me,
I said, to no one in particular,
"From whence did you embark
to set this journey upon my soul ?"
I expected, and received,
no immediate answer.

I dove again beneath the chasm
of the velvet-draped thought that enveloped me.
If there was a question,
wouldn't it stand to reason
that there should be an answer ?

Thoughts now came in rapid fissure of fluidity.
Kaleidoscopically focusing my mind's eye.
Sketching me in all the colors of my palette.
What now this light of brightness heightens ?
Darker still the answers hiding from the questions.

Suddenly the clarity of the knowing came,
overwhelming me in it's simplicity.
The flash of brilliance
over as quickly as it began,
Intuitively I knew I'd found the answer.
The profundity was the glimpse of my own soul,
of that there was no question.

Truely wonderful.  I especially liked the following:

Suddenly the clarity of the knowing came,
overwhelming me in it's simplicity.
The flash of brilliance
over as quickly as it began,
Intuitively I knew I'd found the answer.
The profundity was the glimpse of my own soul,
of that there was no question.

Great read.

Marge--Not the first and not the last, but just right.  The colors of your soul are beautiful...even I knew that!  You know I love the poem!  Hugs!

I LOVE this it is so beautiful, how do you keep producing such consistant and beautiful words. Do you never have an off day? Well maybe one of your off days would be one of my flashes of poetry.

Marge~

I loved this!!!  The answer always lies within your soul.  It is there, we just have to discover it.  Very nice writing.  You have my vote!!

Oh, my friend ... you are such a sweet soul.
Thank you for being there in the night
to hear the story of this piece.
You KNOW how much it means to be a friend and SIS !

Marsha~
What a sweet compliment.
No, I don't think I've know a 'day off'
since I started writing ... those little
muses are always here ... to my pleasure.

Karilea~
Thanks, my friend.
This one came out of the night sky
on a vision of soul-shaking proportions.
Quite an experience.

From the soul it came and that makes me
happy to share it.

Hon, this one flew in to rest in my mind, my heart, my fingertips and finally the page ...
in such a rush that I wasn't at all sure who wrote it.
Glad to know you enjoyed it.

Kit~
I appreciate your thoughts.
This was truly an awesome experience
that dawned in me and I'm thankful that
Martie was up to preview it for me and
encourage me to post it.

Serenity~
Wow !  If you experienced this one ...
then I don't feel so out in left field.
This one was a new experience for me ...
it happened so quickly that I was not
sure who had written it or where the
phrases came from .... a new muse for sure.
