You Travel Back ~*Marge Tindal*~ On increasing waves of memory you travel back to dwell in me Soft upon my brow you rest furrowing now my thoughts digest Laying easy on my mind memories once thought left behind Velvet petals now are pressed upon this heart with memory blessed Caress so feathered upon my cheek gently lulling me into sleep Eyelids laced with sleepy-man sand I reach out to take your hand Enfolding quilt of softest down wrap me in your soft surround Slumbered deep in satin-memory you travel back to dwell in me ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
