Hear my cry o darkened night give me taste of understanding... Tell me why o sweet white knight I feel the glove of reprimanding? Shall I quiver? Shall I beg? Whisper you, dream sweet to bed? My dreams are but a sea of sand... My heart, the stranger in strange land... Tell me how to make it right. Tell me, I might sleep tonight. |

Very well done Serenity, much different than your normal style. I love this! I give you my shoulder to lay down your head and cry that sorrow out till you sleep with the angels. Rich |

This is very haunting! There should be sound effects with it..the lonely cry of an owl..the wind gently blowing...very good! |

lay thy head gentle goddess soft upon my heart let me sing thee a song finest example of my art a song of thy life sad but gentle a lullaby to ease thy pain to close thine eyes and help thee to dream dream of a life that might someday be guiding thy heart to a place in life's stream and showing you that life can be more than a dream. . . superb my friend. . . you heart shows in this one. . . excellent. . . ------------------------------------------------------ That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |

wow, serenity, this poem is short but packed full with wonderful imagery...like the way you phrase "taste of understanding"..."glove of reprimanding" esp like "my heart, the stranger in a strange land"...short and effective, implying that the speaker doesnt know herself any more thanx for the read |
