the inflection of your words lays heavy upon my mind oh, you'd not have to speak a word for me to know you and in a room of a thousand yous or in a hall of words laid bare to the world you could hide amongst them and still my heart would seek you and find you as sure as any bloodhound as swift as any hawk oh yes I'd know you you are an arial view into my soul your tones, your phrases even the twist of a joke runs it's course straight through to my heart and leaves me yearning and aching for things better left unthought upon the firmities of this earth yet instead the realms of my mind untapped as to it's power hold me a willing captive to your remembered smile and my exit in a final closing x as soft blue light closes around me plunging me into a dark velvet night leaves me l o n g i n g for a bittersweet kiss that only you can give and I lay wakeful and wanting deep in the realm of maybe [This message has been edited by X Angel (edited 07-14-2000).] |

X Angel, I'm with Kit here!!! Beautiful poem!!! LW Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |

What a beautiful beautiful poem Heather! You show a love shared by true soulmates and show it wonderfully Eric. "We are the music makers and we are the makers of dreams." - Willy Wonka. |

Beautiful poem very well written. "Deep in the realm of maybe." I like that very much. I found the "yearning and aching for the things better left unthought upon the firmities of this earth." quite interesting to say the least. Excellent poetry!! |
