"FIRST TIME WE MET" There you were sitting there, You are beautiful, like a picture in my dreams. Your radiance shown through your beauty, You are more than I could ever believe. I spoke your name and you turned, Stared at me with soft blue eyes. Mine met yours and in an instant, We knew this love would never die. You arose and came towards me, A hello, a hug, and soft kiss. We both knew from that moment, Nothing again would ever be amiss. We touched our hands together, My fingers intertwined with yours. Walking together down this new path, There will be no more hearts with closed doors. A wet tear came down your face, The breeze carried it through the air. I could see it as it journeyed, And reached out and grabbed it, as I cared. A tear of sadness I would throw away, A tear of joy I would keep. Then I would hold you ever so close, And watch, as you peacefully sleep. A journey of two hearts together, Melting into each other, as they will. Not knowing the path where it ends, But caring enough to climb over that hill. Bill Charles |

Not knowing the path where it ends, But caring enough to climb over that hill. ---------------------- this is SO beautiful.. a wonderful reflection of when soul-mates were found... the moment when 2 become one... very well written...
