God's Been Kind I know, not only I, have been blessed with a star filled sky The nights where the dark finds such calmness before our eyes You can find black for miles just edged in blue Hanging high overhead for me and you... I know, not only I, have been touched by soothing winds and rain And, I know through each season you'll find they never change And, how the sun it can shine even through it all Leaving rainbows, his promise, we will never fall... God, he has been kind, so kind, most everyday I find myself praying the winds never go away I'm often reminded of what a strong pair of hands can do When I found in his heart, the rain, brought me you... Now I fall to my knees, in thoughts of you, every single time it rains And, smile to the wonder, I was given, in the middle of my pain God's been kind to me when I asked for love He gave me more, your heart, than I was ever deserving of... God's been kind, you see, with all his heart Cause he gives us the wind to feel each other even miles apart He gives the warmest winds to show us how it could feel in each others arm together And, the cool to show the feeling of cold so we'll hold on forever... So, I never doubt what any view is ever for Cause, I know God's intended for me to see much more God's been so kind to me for the chance to be with you some night And, lie together, under his starry blanket, and hold on tight... In the midst of rain he's given us a way to feel pure and new That his waters cleanse the soul our whole life through And, when wetness find us as the day is done He knows exactly when he must send down the sun... God's been kind and this I know It's his every season that even more he'll show So, I will wait and see all tomorrows views How God's been beyond kind to me... to wake loving you... Saun Sauni :) |

Saunni.... You put such feeling into your writing.....it's a pleasure to read. My favorite line was: "..he gives us the wind to feel each other even miles apart.." That is truly beautiful... My heart is an open book ....take a look.... |
