PART (I) I needed someone to talk to, so I turned to my best friend. She said "Come see me latter, to my own life I must attend." So I waited several hours, before I came to see her again. She said "You must leave now, I'm looking for new friends. Finally the time arrived, she said "I had naught to fear." She offered me her body, but she would not lend an ear. She said that "I must realise, that for short times we must part." But even minutes seem forever, when she turns and tears my heart. PART (II) But alas my love I know it's true, what you have said to me. That I must woe you to my side, whilst allowing you to be free. So I"ll give my heart and soul to you and I'll love you to the end. You give me life, love and hope. Your truely my best friend. |

What a beautiful poem. How true the sentiments are that you write. Sometimes when we need an ear, the response we want is not always what we get. But in the long run, we always have a friend in that person, someone we can love forever. Very thoughtful and appreciative toward your friend(s). /¯¯\ /¯¯\ | ¥ | [email protected] \ Sheri / \Rob / Created by: Muad'dib \ / \/ |
