A star we wish in the moonlit night For one day our souls to reunite In each others arms we long to be Gazing in each others eyes we see No need for spoken words Our hearts communicate a language unheard Fate continue to keep us apart Thus not allowing to indulge ours hearts To feel his hand caress my skin A touch my heart would recommend To caress him the same in return Lingering desires we both do yearn Would set our bodies and souls afire Awaiting this union and what will transpire For now we anxiously wait For the day our hearts with love we'll consummate |

Very nice lines Lady Web - the waiting is the hard part is'nt it? You really portray a longing in this poem. Very nicely done. |
