What virtues should we live by?
What guidelines whould we use?
Well I have found a good source
Is in the Bible's Truth.

Cleanliess is godliness
With courage we go forth
Endurance will see us on
Obedience never bores.

Purity is a sure sign
Of temperance at work
Be diligent in all things
Daily search the Word.

Be friendly to each person
Be wise and slow to speak
Think pure and wholsome only
Remain steadfast and meek.

Truthfulness the Lord requires
A cheerful heart lives well
We live by faith through all things
And are faithful to God's will.

Forgiveness is essential
And gratitude a must
Honesty is strengthened
As in Him you learn and trust.

To honor our authorities
Is humbleness of heart
Give liberally of your blessings
And God will bless each part.

Meek of heart is sure strength
Mercy makes you great
Be patient with each person
And you'll walk through Heaven's gate.

Live in peace with all things
Treating all with care
Have sympathy for those hurting
And blessings you will share.

It's impossible you say
To live by every one
But never take for granted
The life in Christ the Son!
