Dedicated to a friend Pat whose helped me through some tough times. They say that brotherhood knows no bounds. But, I say sisterhood is awesome to have around. There is a sharing of sorts, a comradery. when talking of love, life and family. And it doesn't matter what color the skin, the union of sisters breaks down walls from within. Nor does it matter whether short, big, beautiful, ugly or tall, Sisterhood exists for one and all. And boy, can we talk about the men in our lives, We share something in common by being wives. And the jokes can border on the obscene, Hey, did you see that movie?, it really made me cry and scream. Our careers, our dreams, the things we aspire. Shine through for all sisters who dream and desire. Sisters can tell each other their worth. And you didn't need him, you can do better, that man was a jerk! And goals for our daughters are one in the same. To have health, success, happiness and a good name. So when feeling alone and there's nothing to measure. Look for sisterhood as a new found treasure. |

A wonderful poem, it is great to be close to people who you can totally confide in. beautifully written. A rock pile ceases to be a rock pile the moment a single man contemplates it, bearing within him the image of a cathedral. Antoine de Saint-Exupéry |

err, ahh, Gemmie? I don't know if you've realized it yet, but have you noticed that the first two responses were from MEN?!! ha ha ha - Take that, all you Sistahs! - We men are better sisters than you women! *self-righteous prancing around the Forums* What's that? I HAVE to wear panty hose to look attractive? err... yanno, this Sisterhood stuff is more than I bargained for. Great writing, though. |

Gemini: Well written and beautifully said. I don't know what I'd do without some of my closest girlfriends these past few days. Great Job with this sister!! (Gives you a punch on the shoulder) Oops!!! I just came from reading Brotherhood and it rubbed off. Sorry I forgot! This is sisterhood not brotherhood. Geez!! I knew there had to be a reason why he said that woman weren't allowed to read it. LOL sister kat and also a sister gemini as well |

Gemini~ Yes, the sistership is something special. It's a bonding kinship that tends hearts with gentleness. You expressed it so well. *LongJohn - You ain't no sissy !
