She paints the sky with the softness of her words Her voice sings through the wind the sweetest I have ever heard The flowers fill the air with her gentle aura The tranquil touch of her hand bends ever so the gathering of flora Shining brightly upon the glory of her meadow The muse's sun glows with love her moon also holds that glow She knows the birds of sky and beasts of field They provide her with comfort and to her they gently yield This is the world that she has brought into form During the evenings, the breeze is cool during the day always warm This is her meadow, she is the Meadowmuse And in this land, her very being fills all like a painting full of many hues ------------------------------------------------------------ That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |

Lovely and exquisite work as always, Sven... Sometimes I wonder how you manage to sustain your energy so well... I am verily bemused at myself not being able to do so Regards, sudhir |

a beautiful poem, wonderful. I agree with Sudhir. I too am wondering what your secret is, you seem to a fountain of poetry. Yes I am jealous LOL < !signature--> A rock pile ceases to be a rock pile the moment a single man contemplates it, bearing within him the image of a cathedral. Within the honey spun world of your own crafting there is tempo, rhythm, rhyme, lifting, rising breathing with the very sound of harmony and all things musical, magical ~~~ nature's nuance. ...thank you, Sven, for your beautiful sharing words... ~ Claire |

Sven, What a lovely portrait of Meadowmuse you have shared with us. Very beautiful writing. Hope more people answer your challenge!! LW Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings: it takes its origin from emotion recollected in tranquility. --William Wordsworth |
