(Just haveing some fun here)

    Moon Magic

In the garden late at night
the moon lit bower silvered
and pond a glow with fairy light
and the crickets song is mellow

The creeping cat has found my bench
and one eyed watch is keeping
for in the very back the fence
in moon magic is picket changing

Now a castle spire stakes the yard
and the pond to mote has turned
and the cat has left my side to guard
the bush where leaves now flurry

The shadow of the palm has bent
'til its leaves are finger tips
that tapered long and graceful sent
a shiver across the yard

I was frozen in the lock of fear
my senses felt the touching
of the shadowed creeping silent leer
that watched and knew my longing

To stand up tall and slowly face
my phantom boldly knowing
that the moon bathed night and I were safe
and to my bed was going

Martie~

Ah, but amongst the moonbeams
dances a magical muse of delight
taking your imagination
on the merriest ride of the night

'The creeping cat has found my bench
and one eyed watch is keeping'

Just wonderful fun indeed.

Like the kid who sees the tree turn into a monster or the doll in his room loom, wonderfully written, Martie!

Oh Martie,

It must be all that time you spent on the Trinity; how do your museles feel..? I'm still trying to recoupe, regroup. You know it took me 4 daz to get the lawn mowed. By the way, nice pic you sent. RJ says I get to send one of her your way. O boy..! And, I could use a little of that moon magic over here... Sending love and prayers.

Forever (lucky) Dale

Wonderful imagery.  This took a very creative imagination and I feel blessed to have read it.  Well done.
