the rain is thick

the afternoon
giggles at me

and you

behind me
still
chasing my skirt

until I give in

your hair
wet with
the gray sky

dark eyes
with oceans of
secrets
for me to drown in

I love them

I hope they
remember

I am your sunshine...

your only sunshine

I love the line "the afternoon giggles at me", and I'm going to quote you, this is a wonderful poem I like it alot, Ive read it three times and it makes me happy and I'm going to vote
