If I could hold you one last time,
What words would I say,
If you were here today,

Time after time I have thought,
Spoken these words to myself,
Looked at your picture upon my shelf,

If I could hold you one last time,
You would feel my love completely,
Your arms in mine,

I would feel your heart beating,
Beating against my chest,
Like a drumbeat repeating,

If I could hold you one last time,
I would whisper in you ear,
Say all the things You wish to hear,

Things that make you happy and smile,
Words of laughter and encouragement,
Of terms of endearment,

If I could just hold you one last time,
I would kiss your face with passion,
Show my love in many fashions,

If Only I could hold you One last time...
