I am a baby, ...hopeless and small, I know not of knowledge, ...I speak not at all, Of things intellectual, ...no reason to care, Of hate and deception, ...I am unaware, Immobile and helpless, ...I cannot survive, If not for assistance, ...I'd be not alive, My needs are unending, ...forever I cry, What am I here for? ...answer me, why? You are our future, ...what someday will be, You are an acorn, ...a budding oak tree, Your needs they are simple, ...a mother's sweet milk, A blanket for comfort, ...for skin smooth as silk, You are a dear gift, ...from heavens above, You are an angel, ...a bundle of love, You are the destiny, ...of husband and wife, You are our tomorrows, ...you're our precious life.
