"Breakdown" Each day The pain remains - Never ceasing to fade away The heartache stays with her Day after day Like a diamond in the sky, She used to shine But as clouds, her emotions cover the brightness Where once her personality radiated with a special glow As her head hangs low It painfully falls into her trembling hands Soaked with sadness Her eyes release silent tears She weeps, Hardly able to breathe Like rain drops, her tears are unable to stop One by one They so carelessly drop Her petite body quivers Uncontrollably So cold and so alone Her world crumbles As she tries to get up But stumbles A broken heart shatters to pieces As her lifeless body crashes to the floor Her world so dark Her life falling apart She grimaces at the images... Her memory plays like a movie, Back to the first day they met Him: As handsome as can be She: As pretty as a doll. Wonders if it is her turn to fall in love... Their first date Their first kiss Their last day To that last embrace - After all the heartache All the tears After all the pain She searches for what remains A soul within She dare finds There all along Time after time With courage, she manages to open her weary, yet beautiful blue eyes From this moment on Her life has changed The future is hers Each day She will not only strive to live the length of her life... She will cherish the width She has survived She is, with great honor - alive. |

Thanks I was wondering if the whole things flows - especially the ending little paragraph. Does it all sound okay? |

It sounds great to me. Welcome! God grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can, and the wisdom to know it's me. ~Unknown |
