The first hello… And the last goodbye… By Jessica DeMaio The pain breathes inside my veins You were my life… My morning… My night… Now you are a treasure… A treasured memory… Only in my thoughts… What happened to us? Where did we go? I will never forget you… Or each kiss… Or each touch… I am deepened with thoughts of never caring again… You took from me all I have to give… You took my heart… You took my Innocence… Now you have taken a different path… A road without me… I look at myself… Fine one moment… And then deepened with sorrow the next… The most painful thing of all this… No closure… No goodbye… And no answer to the repeated question Why? Why so hard to say…? Tears Fall… Why so many moments where you took my breathe away…? A simple goodbye that’s all I ask… A simple way for me to put you in my past… Although you have put me through pain… Although you have made me cry… You were my morning… You were my night… And you’ll always be a treasured Memory… The first hello… And the last goodbye… I will remember until the day I lay down and Die… |

I was definitely feeling this poem. . .your words poured out your emotions, and I can truly relate with what you are saying. Your poem was beautiful, not only because it was well-written but because it speaks the truth and honesty of your feelings. I believe that closure is an important part of any relationship, and it is very difficult to be able to "move on" when you are left with so many questions, in your heart and mind. It seems that the person you write about in this poem was a very significant part of your life. Although he may be gone, always keep the memories. Even if they can be painful, memories can keep that love alive inside of you. Keep up the good work, and keep your head up for me, kay? Much Love. |

this is sad, made a tear come to my eye but hey its happend to us all so dont let one person bring ya down that bad shoot ive had my g/f for a year and wed break up and go out and so on and it didnt get easier but ya move on and if youre still friends that helps a lot too |

very good!!!i am impressed...my favorite part is  a simple goodbye is all i ask...it makes me think of an ex of mine...we stopped talking for awhile and now when i see him he asks like a little kid and i fight with him...honestly i dont think you should ask for a goodbye...it will bring back memories of you and him...and it will hurt...but if thats what you want go for it...~No one is worth your tears, and the one who is wont make you cry~ ~We all cant be stars but we all can twinkle~ |
