And then there was you... Love is fleeting I have seen it happen Love comes and goes Yet never settles And then there was you You captured my heart Entrapment I say Yet with pleasure I gladly fell For your lover's trap And then there was you With eyes so deep Forever caging in my soul You have taken my heart Yet I never want it back With you I feel safe With you I feel alife You are my light In this dark world So I ask with fear My love... Will you marry me? Darkness upholds Light as much as Holiness downs the Evil within... |

I wrote this poem to ask my ex-girlfriend to marry me... but before I could give it she told me that she fell in love with someone else... Hopefully someone else can find use for this poem... Sincerely Broken_Heart Darkness upholds Light as much as Holiness downs the Evil within... |

this is a beautiful poem and im really sorry about your girlfriend,,,,,,,,,,,,but dont worry things will get better jsut give it time Everything happes for a reason and remember.........never frown ,not even when your heart is breaking,cos you never know when someone is falling in love with your smile kepp writing!
