Can True Love Last Forever |

I remember the way you held my hand in yours. The way we held each other close. The way you ran your fingers through my hair. When you touched me my whole body chilled over but Then warmed again In the feel of your fingers on my skin. We didn't have long for i was forced to leave. I will always remember the way you looked at me. No one has ever looked at me that way. You looked deep into my eyes. When i looked into yours i saw someone who loved me With a true love. I long to be in your arms again. I'm far away but in my mind we are still close. I promise there will be a day where we are together again. I know there is a way our true last will last forever. It is better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all. |

Your writing is amazing. I feel that this poem will be what I am thinking in the next year or so. I am moving away from my boyfriend of a year and a half, and I think we will find it a challenge to maintain a healthy relationship. This poem is absolutely beautiful. Sheila- thank you very much!! it's very hard to be living far away from the one you love but if you work at it you can keep it!! lovely_kris- thanks!! i hope that everything works out too!!
