I turn my head and I don't see your face, It seems so cold inside of this place, I reach to feel you but you're not there, But in my heart I know you care, I sit up, think, and hold my pillow tight, I'm not sure what's wrong or if I'm alright, I close my eyes and picture your body, And your safe arms wrapped around me, Looking up into your brown eyes, Where your feelings can't be disguised, I see a warm fire burning brightly, They lock me in so tightly, You speak and you say "I love you," I know the words you say are true, A soothing feeling fills my heart, As we kiss, lips not able to part, Then I open my eyes and smile sweetly, Missing you was the best thing that ever happened to me. ~JennyeMeshan This poem is for my new b/f Eric. He has been a great guy to me and I love him so much. He's going off to college and I won't see him for a little while.I have this poem on the wall next to my bed so it reminds me that he loves me. I will miss him but this poem will hopefully help me stay strong in the months of his absence.  "If thou can wait then thou shall stay" -Destiny's Child |

I know exactly how you feel, and believe me, it is best to keep strong. But you will see each other again, you just have to keep the communication lines open so you don't loose touch, that's the most important thing. But your poem was excellent!! Keep up the great writting, being without this guy may give you the perfect opportunity to practise those writing skills. Love Always, Shell. Everyone, Thanks for replying. Everything is great so far. We are broken up,(under good terms), for now. We thought it would be easier if we didn't have a string holding us. That was so sweet, very very sweet, I just lost my boyfriend, he broke up with me 2 weeks ago I lost my virginity to him, although its been painful truly whats meant to be will be... I hope to find a "eric" someday...*SweetPoet17* |
