I always seem in the wrong lane
at the worse of times,
and it's hard getting over
there's always such a line!

If I'm in the fast lane
a red light just waits foe me,
to slow me down and hinder
me from making good speed.

Life is so complicated
which lane should I be in?
Finally, when I've figured it out--
I need to change lanes again.

I'm such for life's road map
I'm fumbling with my keys,
I know I'm stalled in the wrong lane
So would you be patient, please!

I seek to be me-
and all I can be!

I cam across your poem and I think you are a wonderful writer! Even though I am no longer a teenager (I wish I still was!) I can relate. After some time, the road starts to even out...you learn how to operate the cruise control and you start to enjoy the scenery..It'll happen soon, I promise!

Indeed one to smile about. I know how you feel. So just be like me--when you don't know what lane to be in, just drive right down the middle. ok so it makes people angry, but they'll get over it...right? hehe. Keep it up!
