An Unforgettable Friendship Friends shouldn't have to say good~bye, you had some things to say and so did I. We did lots of things together and yes we did have fun, like going to the beach and playing in the sun. Friends wouldn't have to say good~bye, all I ask myself is why? All the memories both good and bad, looking back it makes me feel so sad. Friends don't have to say good~bye, but the things you said make me want to cry. We grew up together doing lots of things, But soon enough I felt like a puppet while you were playing with my strings. Friends can't say good~bye, while thinking back on you and I. You were my trusted friend, on you I thought I could depend. Friends do sometimes say good~bye, so wipe your tears and dry your eyes. |

hey there ERIN -- welcome to passions  wonderful first post!! i'm sorry you lost your friend, but time sometimes changes people...don't give up, she/he may come to thier senses and realize that they gave up an incredible friend!! anyway -- very well done...i can't wait to see more of your stuff! mr  "crazy" is just who you are...amplified. some people draw the outlines in life, i chose to add the color. |

Welcome to Passions Erin! I hope you like it here as much as I do!  Well well well, we have a new VERY talented member here at the forums I really liked your poem. Great way to start out. It hurts to lose a friend, but all you can do is continue to be a good friend and hope the favor will be returned. Erin- I'm very sorry to hear of your loss! I hope things get better~I know how you feel but sometimes it's for the better. Everything happens for a reason. Maybe that had to happen for some godawful reason and things are going to start looking up for you. Keep your head up!! Keep writing! you're very talented. I don't know how i never got to this one...my loss. Sometimes, we must realize that even our truest friends ain't perfect, and they make mistakes too. It is up to us to determine if they actually feel sorry for what they have done or not and whether we should forgive or not. Great write!!! My first post!!!Wow...Thanks for bringing this one up...I had to write a poem for english class and this is the one I wrote...I think that this is the poem that made me like writing poetry...And this website...Thanks so much for the replies...Acire and Caz...And all of yous who posted replies when I first posted this... *Falling in love is when you give someone a piece of your heart, falling out of love is when the piece doesnt fit* |
