Darkness...
   It settles about me.
   Heavy in its own wierd way
   Pressing against my chest.
   As the night wears on.
Fear...
   It overwhelms me.
   Offensive, depressing, and constant.
   Invading my thoughts
   Amidst the darkness continuing.
Hate...
   It breeds inside me
   Burning my soul, tearing my flesh.
   Destroying my mind.
   Fearing nothing.
A lonely light...
   An endless search,
   and exhausting fight.
   In my world of
   darkness, fear, and hate.

Sometimes, I wish I could hate. I know that I fear and I too yearn for this light you speak of, but hate is something I just can't seem to do. For some reason, I love everybody is some way or another. No matter what they've done or how they treat me, I still care and love for them...I often wish I could just hate...because then, I wouldn't care...the more you care, the darker the world "seems" to be.

All too often the dark is where we find all our raging emotions. For a reason, you were given a gift, the gift of expressive poetry, continue to utilize it my dear, you're talented as hell.
