I'm looking for a guy,
But they over look me.

They say I'm a good friend,
I'm jsut one of the guys.

Why am I over looked,
When they look for a girlfriend?

They all say I'm cute,
But that just won't do.

What am I missing,
That other girls have?

When they want a friend,
I am always there.

But when they want a girl,
I'm not on their mind.

I guess I'll always be,
Just one of the guys.

I can so feel your pain. For the longest time I was considered like a big brother to just about every girl that I had an interest in. But don't worry, it doesn't last forever. Just stay cool, and be sexy. Maybe that will do it.

girl do i know how you feel...i was in the same position...until one of my friends decided that i was just more then one of the guys...we hooked up and now the others that said i was just like one of them want me...i just wish that i could tell them all haha...look what you cant have even though you want...

I really know what your talking about, It's always the same for me, Girls think I'm a "nice Guy" and that's it. Always there for a shoulder to cry on, but never to kiss or be more then friends. It's a very good poem and keep wrighting.
