*A tribute to my first love in a thank you for my first kiss*

Did you know
that flowers love to spring
even when the snow
has fallen to the ground
in flakes so grand
yet can't compare
to the urge the flowers own?
And that fields will bloom
all at once
with a single prance
of a flower bud
that has fallen tenderly
from a sky so blue
yet filled with rainbows
that are dancing with
all the beautiful butterflies?
When all the world around
seems in their own war,
did you know the birds chirp
and swing on the vines
that dangle from the tall oak tree
he and I climb together?
Even at the age of five,
I trust he won't let me fall,
and that wedding bells will ring
while the dove flying above sings
our happy melody song
that he plays so grandly
with those wonderful brown eyes.

I like the imagery u used. I could almost see what u were writing. Isn't it amazing how words can paint an image so descriptive it's more satisfying that sight? Your poem iz beautiful and essentially sweet. Keep it up.

a beautiful example of vivid word imagery. this paints a wonderful picture, of both the physical and emotional places you travel here.
good stuff. i dig it.

This is a wonderful and beautiful poem. I would have to say that it is my favorite poem i've read since i've been here! Your style of writing is wonderful and the imagery that you used was great. Can't wait to read more!

I agree with Tom(TAP2), this belongs in the book. For once, I actually have the look of love in my eyes right now...thank you for bringing that to me.
