This poem relates alot to my life right now and since we have so many new ppl since I last posted it... here it is again. Peace of Mind LIFE A glorious thing but DEATH I'm guaranteeing It WILL end But before it does I need to find peace Before I go, I wanna know Where do I find strength to grow Some ask god... But faith I can't find Wish some how... I could be that blind Where can I... Find peace of mind? In my soul? I'll look again But last I looked There's only sin Search my heart? Probably not there My hearts be broken Beyond repair Where can I find peace of mind? < !signature--> "Every body has their destiny... AWRIGHT!!!!!! Were we separated at birth, my friend? ^_^ I absolutely love this poem! I know EXACTLY what you are saying here-- "Some ask god... But faith I can't find Wish some how... I could be that blind Where can I... Find peace of mind?" Yes, wouldn't it be so much easier to be blinded by a type of faith? I often wish this... they are so happy, aren't they? ^_^ Still, take comfort in your wisdom. If you ever feel out-of-place, my friend, I'm a lot like you. So talk to me! It was nice to read this... it was like a biography. I finally feel like I know you, man! Thanks for the repost! |

Wow! That was so good I couldn't read it just once, I had to read it again and again and again! The emotion and confusion really came out in this piece. I'm sorry about the troubling times, hang in there and keep writing! |

This was a great poem. I've been there, but I haven't questioned the existance of God since I was 10. Anyway nice one here IsGona! I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I'm in love with my shadow I admire it daily |

Thanks everyone. Your replies mean a lot to me. Jeremy ~ I think you miss read Dopey's reply. But anyhow I don't think it's bad times that cause me to question the existence of God... It is just my beliefs. But whatever, that’s just me. Thanks again for your replies Jason < !signature--> "Every body has their destiny... Jason~ Good job. I was raised Catholic, and some things we believe in sound so phony... and they just want us to believe "blindly" as you said. However I know that one way or another God does exist, and one day I may know how it all works! This piece was really honest, nice one. xoxo Jenn "A person can never get over a broken heart if they aren't willing to let go of all of the pieces."-- ?? |

Jenn Thank you for your reply. I must say I don't see why you see this as an 'honest' poem, but I am super happy that you liked it. Thanks again. Jason "Every body has their destiny... I'LL CHOOSE MY OWN ~Hatebreed~ |

Hmmmm, I don't know how I feel about what this poem says (if i'm even reading it right ), but it was written well. "Disagreements stimulate thought, thought stimulates action, and action stimulates life." --Lakewalker http://www.thehungersite.com |
