All the waves of good and bad,
Happy and sad, and the like.
Try to smile, sometimes just can't.
When the happy days come back, laugh off the rest very swiftly.

When a boy breaks the heart, you've cared for so well,
When a teacher cuts you down,
Or a friend breaks the trust,
All of the laughs go away, where are we now?

It comes to a point where it should just all go away,
Leave you alone, so you can make your way through.
How hard this all seems, how trivial it may be.
Your world is not ending, but that's so hard just to see.

Let us be ready for tomorrow, and try to remedy today.
Allow wishful thinking to be your guide, and let love be your path.
Try to see the sun through all the gray.
Those sad things cannot hurt us, unless allowed.

Beautiful Jenn! What a wonderfully positive message you've penned, and so true. Each day is what "we" make of it. Nicely done!

Best wishes,
/Kit

I LOVE this! Sometimes we do need wishful thinking to get through our days, especally when we're teenagers. What you've written here is so true, and so beautiful. Keep up the great work!

Thanks to you all for your replies.... I understand the truth in what I've written, now, if I could only live it! Thank you again.

This on is really great.  I like the positive advice you give in this:
"Allow wishful thinking to be your guide, and let love be your path."
I liked what you said in your reply, "if I could only live it!"   Great job on this

Thank you Erin & Lakewalker for your replies. Erin, it's true I haven't posted that much, been a bit preoccupied myself.
I'm glad to be posting on occasion once again.
Lakewalker, yeah, well, it's true, if we could all live that life, instead of just thinking like that, the world would be happier.
Thanks again...
