and when i smell the midnight breeze dancing behind my eyes in a deaf slideshow i remember florida and christmases past asleep again, christmas morning presents piling up under pine covered scent gliding memories in my brain and i look out the window before it closes and the smell retreats and my eyes close and I return home again -=- Thanks in advance for the replies... Memories of home are almost as sweet as the real thing. This time of year really brings them out, too. You describe it well. Thanks for sharing it with us! False gems may shine as brightly as the genuine article, but there are always those who can tell the difference. |

I really liked this poem. Home......a place where the heart is......something that seems to be cliché said these days, but so true. I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them! |
