Here for me when I am ill... Stands up for me when others don't. Needs me more than life itself, Loves me just the same. Cares when I am about to cry... dries my eyes when I do. Hears my dreams and wishes, Never saying I can't fufill them. Being around isn't in the job description... It's just something that's a given. Tries so hard to understand me, No matter how difficult the feat. I love her more than life itself, and need her just the same. I'd take care of her when she is ill, I'll back her up when others shoot her down. She is here for me, I'll be there for her. This was a wonderful poem about your mother. If you didn't show it to her then i urge you to. Mothers love stuff like that!  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them! |

Thank you all for your replies! I haven't been in here for a while.... got some stuff I've been sorting through at the moment... But I figured I wanted to make this my first poem coming back. Yes, I did show my mother, and she was very happy to read it. Thanks again to everyone!
