The End: As the wind blows away my wasted years, I notice the dripping of my tears. I know not of my future nor my past, I do not think that I may last In this place of conformity and worldwide hate. I would change but it's just too late. Nothing serves to guide my way, As my heart commences to decay. Wandering the plaines forever here. Lingering shadow to hold so dear. Being rushed with a lonely rusted thorn, Death being the end and now we mourn. I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

Such a choice of thoughts!!!The last line caught my eye for some reason and made me think...What are you trying to do to me???LOL Anyways it made me think that in my opinion from the minute we are born we are already dying...We dont have a chance to be free from death...With all that is going on in the world these days...We have to becareful of what we do...Cause that one wrong thing could cost us our lives...Anyways sorry that I rambled on and on...Keep up the good work!!! *Falling in love is when you give someone a piece of your heart, falling out of love is when the piece doesnt fit* |

Nicely written Javier. The emotions elicited in this piece held an almost haunting or mystical feel to it amongst the despair. Very good expression, it drew me right in. Best wishes, /Kit |

this poem was great. I hope that you realy don't feel this way about life. as much suffering and decay as there is, there are still a lot of great things to be had in life |
