Anger fills our every word, the friendship we had is slowly dissapating. I don't believe we ever needed each other, We never really knew each other. I cannot believe this is ending, But my hatred of you is ever-growing. You annoy and irritate every ounce of my being, please, just let me be. The one who should be caring for me, The one who needs to want me near, My 'forever friend'; you're presense is 'forever scarce'. I wonder... do I even want you here? |

A very deep poem How sad but true sometimes we may fill with such hate we think we dont need them or anyone for that matter at all we think at that moment of anger that we know it all and the rest are but mere idiots ![]() |

Well unlike TruLUV, i don't think the poem itself was DEEP. The message was pretty out there in accordance to the style. So deep? Not at all.....but written well, yes. You got the point across fine and the poem was good. ![]() I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

Thank you all for your replies. Tru- Thank you, I'm not sure about the poem's 'depth' but you're right on how anger can make us feel sometimes. With my friend, however, It's more than anger,I'm afraid. Thanks again. Erin- Thank you for your insight, I'm always happy to read your replies to my work.. although i feel as if I'm slacking off lately. I'm sorry about your friend. Dopey- It's always wonderful to get your insight on my work, you've been working on subduing the negativity better, thank you. No, but I do kinda agree with you, the poem itself wasn't very deep; I know. This poem really touched me, I liked it very much. I can relate to your experiences, I have a friend who behaves as you describe at this present moment. It's nice to know that other people have false friendships too. Keep it up, Michelle. |

Stotty- We all have false friends. They really suck sometimes. I'll be honest, I entered into this friendship believing that anyone was better than who I formally hung around, and I knew she was selfish, and a little self-centered, but I figured in it's utter triviality, our friendship would be good for me, after what I had previously been around. I learned to like hanging around her, and we started to tell each other everything. Now it's just all wrong. She hates it when I don't tell her things, yet she never truely appreciates it when I do. She is self-absorbed to the nth degree. It's sad really... I guess I'll be away soon, after senior year, and I can start all over again. Thanks for your reply. Dopey- yes, I know you try, I hate negative feed back, but I should probably grow accustomed to it huh? It's all around us, isn't it?
