MEANINGLESS

Crying myself to sleep,
sometimes not even knowing why.
I am so weak,
but act much stronger.
I can't hide in this mask forever,
don't even know how much longer.
A fake smile & laughs,
should really be sobs & a frown.
What happens when I can't hide anymore,
& my wall crumbles down?
Can I live a normal life?
Be who I really am?
Can I open up completely,
to the one person I truly love?
Living a life of confusion.
Not knowing where it leads.
How can I give myself meaning,
if I don't know what it already means?
Will it ever get better,
or will it just get worse?
I feel like I'm the only one hurting,
the only one who has this curse.
I know my life is real,
but meaningless,
is how I feel!

I too think that great poems are ones that I can relate to and apply to my own life. I think EVERYONE can relate to this one! Great job, great idea, great approach...perfect. I loved it
