I long for a thousand deaths
So pleasure would never find its way beneath my finger tips
For It only brings me such misery and pain
When my sweet heart begins to echo your name

I can't seem to go on like this for any longer
I know my soul should only be getting stronger
But my lips bleed from love's tainted sugar

A thousand pardons are something I should be wishing for
But instead death is what I'm asking for
I don't want my soul to flourish
Or my heart to stop bleeding
All because it's your love I am needing

I am selfish to feel what I feel
To ask you to be more than what you are
Or to look upon you as if you are bathed with the light of that glorious morning star...

Don't know if any of that made sense..It's just free verse..btw I'm not on much anymore because I'm punished..

very good poem!! sounds like you write with a deep passion!! i like it!!

When you love someone write their name in a circle...not a heart. A heart can be broken but a circle goes on forever.

I liked the poem a lot, I like the part about "loves tainted sugar"...... nice nice nice. Anyway, keep on posting. When you get off your punishment, just plop onto your seat and post cuz i wanna read more.

I don't know why, but I've always enjoyed freeverse the best. This is written miserabley well. You show deep miserey and I certainly hope that it doesn't last too long. Chin up!!
