SANAI I could never ask for a better friend Then the friend you were to me Anytime I needed you At my side you’d be I can’t believe you’re gone now It’s all just such a shock From the minute Mum told me My tears won’t cease to stop Why did this have to happen? Just when everything was good You had your little puppies I had my blessed childhood From the second you were born Sanai I chose you as my own I thought you and me forever From a pup I’ve seen you grown You slept with me every night In the shows you made me proud I used to sneak you extra food And let you in when no others were allowed You were only four years old So many years ahead But that morning that car came all too fast And the next thing I knew you were dead I’m thankful for the time we had All those cute things you used to do I hope you enjoyed your life here with me And know I loved you too I know we have the memories Many happy of course And in my mind you’ll always be You and your happy face Out of all of us that miss you Mum, Dad, Taylor and all the rest I know you know this already But to me you were the best Even though you’re gone now In my heart you’ll always live on Sanai you were my best friend Nothing will ever break our eternal bond |

This is good!!!I like it alot...I am sorry that your dog died...My dog is just like a best friend to me...I can tell her anything and she wont repeat a word of it...She is sick...She has tumors and is gonna die soon...But anyways keep up the good work!!!  ~*~TrUe LoVe Is ThE cLoSeSt ThInG tO hEaVen~*~ |

You've touched my heart with this poem LuvnKris! From one critter lovin' heart to another ... the loss you feel is deeply understood from this reader. I've written many a poem about the loss of my 11 year old Shepherd ... and still miss her so. Wonderful writing, thank you for this sentimental 4-legged read. Nicely penned from the heart! I loved this poem. Take note: i hardly say i love a poem. I usually say its good or its cute. Ok but anyway i loved it. I relate to a T. I had a cat that was with me since i was 1 and died last year. Meaning out of my 16yrs of living he was with me for 15 of them. My life crumbled. He was my refuge. Yes but anyway, just to inform you im 17 if your bad at math. Yes but back to the poem. Very nice. I REALLY want to see another one of your poems, so post up!  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

uuhmm... a great poem...but I never had a dog...I just imagine it's about a real friend... or my cat...or my fish but anywa great poem !! it's says a lot... see yaaaa ! greetz Robinn |
