This is a poem my Boyfriend wrote for me...please tell me what you think... It's time for me to say how I really feel The emotions in my heart are all too real Finding love was the farthest thing from my mind A girl like you I never thought I'd find You came into my life strictly as a friend Now I pray our time together will never end Seeing you every day brightens my heart It saddens me every moment that we're apart It's difficult for me to get into your head I can only go by the things that you've said You've closed off a part of your heart from me Secrets stored in the depths of your soul, I just can't see Expressing my feelings, I find hard to do If only I could show exactly what I feel for you Not knowing whether you would turn and run Or if you would say our lives have finally begun Maybe one day you'll open your eyes and see That the heart that belongs to you, Beats in me It's then you will know that we were made for each other Being more than just friends and more like real lovers |
