The world seemed so far away that one night when we drove off to the Point The sky seemed endless with it's stars. That One night I realized something else how much I truly loved you. I saw you laying on the blanket, in the sand, with your eyes closed, and I thought to myself, I wouldn't mind waking up to you every morning. That One Night, when the golden Moon came up, we held each other tight and kissed one another, not caring that it was just the heat of the moment. I want so much for that Night to happen every night. And I want so much for me to be with you. It was just That One Night that made me realize that I love you. I love you. |

nothing but but pure, raw emotion here. i knew these feelings well, and your poem captures the moment beautifully. great imagery also. ------------------------ I saw you laying on the blanket, in the sand, with your eyes closed, and I thought to myself, I wouldn't mind waking up to you every morning. -------- That One Night, when the golden Moon came up -------- It was just That One Night that made me realize that I love you ------------------------- those were my fave parts. well done.
