I piece it together, as me, the sleuth.
I feel something drawing to a close,
Maybe this was the correct path I chose.
If all I've waited for is here,
Then why are you no longer near?
I know my life has been revolved,
around you until my problems solved.
I know a new beginning's here,
Whatever I make of it, I'll hold it dear.
For this new period of time upon me,
My eyes are now opening,let me see.

* how's this? I followed your AABB so on and so forth ryhme scheme. Is it okay...spur of the moment stuff.(lines following Lakewalker's poem)
