The fire that burns, Behind the wall of confusion, Smokes out all the thoughts, Of reality and illusion, The appreciated deranged nightmares, Come but once a night, Where you realize there is no substitute, For the guilt you feel inside, You have a condemned reputation, No one will ever forget, It's not yor fault it is someone elses, But one mistake they will never regret, The disappointments you expected, The opinionated criticism you did not, The feelings of damned unhappiness, Will never add up to a lot, The hard punishing ocean crashes down, Over top of the icy sand, Just like all your anger will bottle up, Because no one will ever understand, As soon as something good occurs, Nature balances adn so does something bad, To take away any sign of pleasantness, That you may have had, The skepticism in their voices, And the shadows in their eyes, Proves to you once again, You can see straight through their lies, You do not need their sympathy, They cannot help if they tried, The tornado inside of you, Left too much destruction behind, The excitment happiness and smiles, It had all been here and gone, It floats away on the gray clouds, Into infinity and beyond. |

i don't think i got the chance to welcome you to passions so welcome!! and i must say this is a wonderful post, not like what we are used to seeing, but this is truely beautiful...i loved you're 1st stanza most: "The fire that burns, Behind the wall of confusion, Smokes out all the thoughts, Of reality and illusion," Keep them coming!
